Prepare for jobs of the future. From healthcare to entrepreneurship.
Stride Career Prep launches students into careers they’ll love.
Whether they’re exploring different opportunities in agriculture, looking at a career in information technology, or driven by an entrepreneurial passion—we have a career path for your student.*
Stride Career Prep offers more than 25 career pathways, stemming from five career fields. Opportunities vary by school.**
A scholastic difference. A career beginning.
The Stride Career Prep program is different from a traditional school experience. Combining career pathways with traditional academics offers:
Students can start on college while still in high school by exploring majors and saving on college tuition costs with credits through dual enrollment courses at select schools. Stride K12 also offers AP® courses that follow the curriculum specified by the College Board, designed to help prepare students to take the AP® exam in a particular subject. A student's AP® exam score may also allow them to receive college credits, as determined by the college.*
Students can connect with industry professionals through online sessions, and can learn about their field directly through job shadowing opportunities, apprenticeships, and internships.*
Skills for the Real World
Students learn to think inside and outside the classroom with project-based learning while building professional skills—like collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving—and technical skills specific to their career field.
Industry Certification Exam Prep
Students can take their career to the next level as they prepare for more than 40 industry-recognized certification exams that can give them an edge up over the competition.†
